Become a Member!
Who can become a member? Just about anyone! The membership of the council has consisted of a wide cross section ranging from state, federal and local agencies to large industrial landowners, individuals and professionals from the insurance industry. Anyone with an interest in preventing loss from fires is encouraged to join. More than anything, the council relies on the enthusiasm and ideas of its members. The primary level of membership is very affordable. For only $15.00 a year, members are given a vote at meetings, and invited to participate in all decisions and activities that the council undertakes. There are many benefits to joining the council. Members are given opportunities for professional development by networking with other professionals, and by gaining experience in:
- Social Marketing
- Public Relations
- Project Coordination

Your organization will enjoy increased visibility in the community and the potential reduction in unwanted fires leads to lower costs in terms of lives and dollars.
