Who Is A Member

The membership of the council has consisted of a wide cross section ranging from state, federal and local agencies to large industrial landowners and individuals. Anyone with an interest in preventing loss from fires is encouraged to join. More than anything, the council relies on the enthusiasm and ideas of its members. The primary level of membership is very affordable. For only $15.00 a year, members are given a vote at meetings, and invited to participate in all decisions and activities that the council undertakes. The council also sponsors one or more individuals who have displayed above average participation in council activities, to attend the Annual PNW Fire Prevention Conference. The council recommends those individuals for scholarships to attend the week long conference free of charge. It is a great opportunity to network with peers in fire prevention from around the region.
